There is so much to love about Screaming Trees, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Self-described as Pop: Pop-Rock with lots of words, Screaming Trees comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Sweet Oblivion is an amazing album, racked with beauty.Sweet Oblivion is not something you should pass up.
Nearly Lost You is one of the best records ever. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Dollar Bill. Simple and heartfelt closing track More Or Less closes Sweet Oblivion on a high note. Butterfly - This is a very lively song. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. The Secret Kind - My least favorite song on this album. Winter Song is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. I was truly moved when I heard Troubled Times. The opening track No One Knows is very much like you would expect from other albums. Julie Paradise stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty.
