Lead single “Fantasia Veneziana [In La Maj]” and “Perle D’oriente” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Rondo Veneziano had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Rondo Veneziano’s debut, ‘Rapsodia Veneziana’, does not fit easily into one genre. This is my first Rondo Veneziano Album and i must say i am blown away.
Rondo Veneziano offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. This track is full of harmonies and gets Rapsodia Veneziana off to a relaxing start. Rondo Veneziano is one of artists that allow his songs like Torcello to stand on their own and be heard. Arazzi [Iia Parte] is a very catchy tune. Festa Mediterranea has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Isole - This is a very lively song. This song is dynamic and dramatic. Rondo Veneziano rocks harder than ever with Calli Segrete. Gondole rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Misteriosa Venezia as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Laguna Stellata is astounding. Notturno Veneziano - I just love it.
