It has been six years Rondo Veneziano’ last studio CD, “Visioni di Venezia” which won Array Emmy� Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Smart music for smart people.
Ultimo Incontro - This one makes me want to not only sing along. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. Miniature hits the heart. Voice and instruments in Segreto complement each other. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Rondo Veneziano. Music and lyrics of Velieri Lontani creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Venti D’Oriente is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Costellazioni has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Rondo Veneziano’s strong vocals come to the fore. Oltremare defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. As always, Rondo Veneziano’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again.
