On Stagioni di Venezia album, Rondo Veneziano have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Since completing 1992’s ‘La Serenissima’, Rondo Veneziano fulfilled their contract with Savoy Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Stagioni di Venezia is an amazing album, racked with beauty.I Love Stagioni di Venezia from start to finish!
So much energy, so exciting a sound.Murano is another favourite of mine. Nona Favola is the albums biggest surprise. Rondo Veneziano allows each song to breathe and flourish. Voli E Vele is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Stagioni di Venezia is Burano. Rondo Veneziano must have run out of lyrics on the next track Rondo Veneziano. In Corteo Dei Dogi Rondo Veneziano is at his best. Via Vai is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Antichi Ricordi is the funkiest number on the album. When I listen to Il Palio in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Album opener Riverberi is a bright, upbeat ditty. Rondo Veneziano has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving.
