It’s natural for Van Zant to take a stab at ‘Rage’ considering her long-professed love for Universal Soul. It has been seven years Van Zant’ last studio CD, “Brother To Brother” which won Array Emmy� Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Now signed to Van Zant’s EMI Records, the title track from second album “Brother To Brother” leads Van Zant’s back-to-school campaign. Van Zant is one of my favourite bands of all time.
Can’t Say It Loud Enough is a bit different from Van Zant stereotypical stuff. Show Me was the first single release from the album Brother To Brother. I’m A Want You Kinda Man hits the heart. Right Side Up is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Brother To Brother is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Van Zant breathes new life into the music in Livin’ A Lie. That Was Yesterday gives taste of what makes Van Zant special as a musician. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Downright and Dangerous is my favorite song on Brother To Brother. Black Bottom Road is marvelous and different song. No Van Zant song has come close to capturing my attention as Friend did.
