It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Natacha Atlas energies, virtually a rebirth. On Diaspora album, Natacha Atlas have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. For older fans Diaspora will put a massive smile accross your face. IT makes me wanna dance!
Leysh Nat’arak is a great opener for Diaspora. Natacha Atlas has astounded me with this amazing track. Yalla Chant is the first taste of the new album. Alhambra Pt 1 is one of my favorite songs by Natacha Atlas. Duden is such a exquisite and optimistic song that things can get just better. Feres is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. Fun Does Not Exist is one of the coolest songs Natacha Atlas has ever recorded. A great put together song. Iskanderia (Remix) is a very catchy tune. Diaspora (Remix) is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Diaspora. Fun Does Not Exist (Remix) has a beautifully haunting disco flavor.
