This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by X-Ecutioners. X-Ecutioners had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Jim Jones has compared writing for X-Ecutioners’s new album to that on ‘X-Pressions’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. This album is awesome.
Get Started is a bit of a show-tune. Word Play is the perfect blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. I believe X-Outtakes 2 is one of the most astounding, heartfelt songs ever written. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. Pianos From Hell is another strong production from X-Ecutioners. In Cipher you won’t find any flashy solos. Turntablist Anthem is a perfect sing-along. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think X-Outtakes 3 is my favorite song on X-Pressions. One Man Band is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Countdown is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. Solve For X have really caught my ear and imagination. X-Outtakes 4 - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Don’t judge Turntable Exhibition on the first listening. Beat Treats is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. One listen to the sheer beauty of Mad Flava was all I needed. X-Outtakes 5 - another great track from the X-Pressions album. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in X-Pressions. Once Scratch To This gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. This track is a great song that still never gets old. Table Talk marked the continuation of X-Ecutioners in style evolution.
