While no new Astral Projection album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1995 tour in Australia. Since completing 1995’s ‘Mahadeva (Astral Projection)’, Astral Projection fulfilled their contract with EMI Records and where under no obligation to release another album. three years ago, Astral Projection briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Power Gen (Astral Projection)”. Mahadeva (Astral Projection) and Power Gen (Astral Projection) is really good.
Power Gen (Astral Projection) is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Voice and instruments in State Of Mind (Metal Mix; Aban Don) complement each other. Trust In Trance Vol. 2 couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Voodoo Experience (Aban Don). Arrival (Mantra) is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. In Novation (Astral Projection) have really caught my ear and imagination. Hypnotica (Sfx) - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Astral Projection. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Trust In Trance Vol. 2. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely.
