Trouble Everyday sets the tone for the entire album. This song may be the most meaningful. The Usual is probably the most interesting track on Rockin’ My Life Away. Living With The Shades Pulled Down is a very catchy tune. I believe Manhattan Slide is one of the most exquisite, heartfelt songs ever written. Rocking My Life Away is the song that really did it for me. This is one hell of a track. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. Blues Hang-Over has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets George Thorogood’s strong vocals come to the fore. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin.
