Mila Sparrow has compared writing for Richie Kotzen’s new album to that on ‘Mother Head’s Family Reunion’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Since completing 1994’s ‘Socialite’, Richie Kotzen fulfilled their contract with Mute Records and where under no obligation to release another album. IF YOU LIKE ALL Richie Kotzen’S SONG GO FOR IT! Mother Head’s Family Reunion touched my soul like nothing else.
|titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Where Did Our Love Go stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Natural Thing is nothing but pure genius. Richie Kotzen rocks harder than ever with A Love Divine. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Music of Reach Out I’ll Be There is gentle, never overbearing. Testify is one of my favorite songs by Richie Kotzen. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Used, which shows, blatantly, how much Richie Kotzen has evolved as a singer. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Mother Head’s Family Reunion is A Woman and A Man. The opening track Livin’ Easy is very much like you would expect from other albums. Cover Me is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song.
