Matia Bazar’s debut, ‘Souvenir CD1′, does not fit easily into one genre. This album has some very good songs like Per Un’ora D’amore and Solo Tu. There were many famous songs of Matia Bazar available. Souvenir CD1 constantly brilliant.
Within the first few notes of Solo Tu it’s perfectly clear that Matia Bazar is living this song. In Cavallo Bianco it becomes nowhere more obvious that Matia Bazar has yet to define own style. In C’i Tutto Un Mondo Intorno Matia Bazar spins a tale you want to hear to the end. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Aria because the melody in the chorus is so good. Elettrochoc - To me, this is the best song on the Souvenir CD1. I’ve found myself listening to Oggi Gia Domani… Intorno A Mezzanotte… back to back and back many times. Aristocratica is one of the best records ever. When listening to E Dirsi Ciao, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. Mi Manchi Ancora is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Stringimi is the song that really did it for me. I now have Sentimentale as one of my personal favorites. Vaghe Stelle Dell’orsa is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Souvenir CD1 have ended. Song La Unica Estrella Verdadera is actually a funny song.
