It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Ugly Kid Joe energies, virtually a rebirth. Ugly Kid Joe had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. There is so much to love about Ugly Kid Joe, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
Goddamn Devil - A strong beat. I loved Come Tomorrow the first time I heard it. In Panhandlin’ Prince Ugly Kid Joe is at his best. Busy Bee is one of the best records ever. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Don’t Go. First time I heard So Damn Cool was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Same Side is one of the best records ever. Cats In The Cradle great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.Lyrics of I’ll Keep Tryin’ are precise and evocative. What sets Everything About You apart is Ugly Kid Joe’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. Madman (’92 re-mix) - another great track from the America’s Least Wanted album. Music and lyrics of Mr. Recordman creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming.
