After seeing Intro, I had to have a good Keith Murray cd. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Keith Murray on ‘Intro’. thirteen years ago, Keith Murray briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Call My Name”. This album is in perfect progression from Keith Murray!
Call My Name as a highlight of Enigma contains a ton of cool melodies. Manifique (Original Rules) is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Whut’s Happenin’ is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Keith Murray ever produced. The Rhyme is one of my favorite songs by Keith Murray. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Rhymin’ Wit Kel to me is the best you can get from Keith Murray. Musically What A Feelin’ is superior to other tracks in Enigma. One listen to the sheer beauty of Hot To Def was all I needed. Yeah is astounding. Love L.O.D. - Check out that bassline! To My Mans is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. This track is full of harmonies and gets Enigma off to a relaxing start. The Rhyme (Remix) - For me, this is the best of the album.
