Live Target carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. five years ago, Front 242 briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Soul Manager”. There is no doubt that Front 242 has talent. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
Front 242 must have run out of lyrics on the next track Soul Manager. Opening track Don’t Crash shows the best of Front 242. Im Rhytmus Bleiben is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. DSM 123 and Moldavia - a classic song. No Shuffle on Live Target is solid and easy to listen to. As always, Front 242’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. Excellent vocals and musical performances. Headhunter is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. Welcome To Paradise is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Get Live Target and turn on Punish Your Machine if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Intro + Circling Overland is a strong cut, one of many.
