This disc has all of the essential Fabrizio de Andre classics. Lead single “Le Nuvole” and “Ottocento” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. For older fans Le Nuvole will put a massive smile accross your face. To me Fabrizio de Andre is the best band ever.
This track is a great song that still never gets old. Put Don Raffa into car stereo for your highway driving Still going through Le Nuvole and coming to appreciate La Domenica Delle Salme more and more with every listen. Don’t judge Megu Megun on the first listening. La Nova Gelosia is a amazing, simple song by Fabrizio de Andre at the top of his game. I like to sing along with ‘A Cimma, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Monti Di Mola is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade.
