Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Big Mountain on ‘All Kinds Of People’. IF YOU LIKE ALL Big Mountain’S SONG GO FOR IT! Free Up is an amazing album, racked with beauty.If I may, I suggest “All Kinds Of People”. That one song is amazing!
This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. I find myself hearing bits of Calling You Out here and there throughout my waking hours. Overall a nice softer song. It’s such an underrated song. When I listen to Free Up The Pressure in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. You have to get essence of the Friction’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. The song feels complete. The song Monkey See, Monkey Do ending is my favorite… so catchy! Real Thing as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Tell Me WhereThe People Go is pretty funky and mellow. Them’ A Say is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Free Up have ended.
