Paul Young breathes new life into the music in Wonderland. War Games is perfect. In The Long Run - I just love it. Wasting My Time which is my favorite is a truly Paul Young sounding song. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Prisoner Of Conscience, which shows, blatantly, how much Paul Young has evolved as a singer. Why Does A Man Have To Be Strong is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Between Two Fires couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track A Certain Passion. Between Two Fires is probably the most interesting track on Between Two Fires. Lyrics of Wedding Day are precise and evocative. I find myself hearing bits of Steps To Go here and there throughout my waking hours.
