Blue System’s debut, ‘Here I Am’, does not fit easily into one genre. Since Blue System last CD (Here I Am) on Blue Note Records back in 1997, I have felt a massive void in my life. For older fans Here I Am will put a massive smile accross your face. Oh yes, this album gets Array out of Array
Anything is another strong production from Blue System. I Miss You is almost impossible to review. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Don’t Do That is a strong cut, one of many. This track is full of harmonies and gets Here I Am off to a relaxing start. You Are Lyin’ - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. The song feels complete. Shame Shame Shame is probably the highlight of the album. I came to like I Believe You Are An Angel.
