I am not a real Jazz music type of person, but i have to admit ‘The Unforgettable’ really is amazing. This is the first studio album from Glenn Miller since bad diagnosis in 1985. four years ago, Glenn Miller briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Little Brown Jug”. The Unforgettable is not something you should pass up.
Little Brown Jug is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after The Unforgettable have ended. In The Mood makes a person feel amazing. Pennsylvania Six-Five Thousand is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Don’t Sit Under The Apple Tree is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Sunrise Serenade - Glenn Miller first major hit. Chattanooga Choo Choo is a bit different from Glenn Miller stereotypical stuff. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on The Unforgettable. American Patrol is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. I’ve Got A Girl In Kalamazoo is probably the highlight of the album. This song is dynamic and dramatic. St Louis Blues March is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. Serenade In Blue is a medium tempo tune. Charming song, great melody. Juke Box Saturday Night have really caught my ear and imagination. A String Of Pearls - Well, here we get a bit more meaning.
