ten years ago, Krokus briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Wild Love”. There is so much to love about Krokus, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. This album has some very good songs like Everebody Rocks and Wild Love. IT makes me wanna dance!
Wild Love make listening to Krokus like being in some sort of time warp. Some call Let It Go from Heart Attack as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. In Winning Man you won’t find any flashy solos. Axx Attack is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. I like the agression and power of Rock’n'roll Tonight. I like the idea behind Flyin’ High. Shoot Down The Night is the funkiest number on the album. Krokus offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. The first time I listened to Speed Up I was struck by its excellent sound.
