‘The Temptations: The Ultimate Collection’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Mila Sparrow has compared writing for The Temptations’s new album to that on ‘The Temptations: The Ultimate Collection’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. The Temptations was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from The Temptations and The Temptations: The Ultimate Collection together. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Error Of Our Ways
This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. My Girl make listening to The Temptations like being in some sort of time warp. After you’ve listened to The Way You Do The Things You Do, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Angel Doll (2:31) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on The Temptations: The Ultimate Collection is You’re My Everything. Lyrics of All I Need are precise and evocative. (I Know) I’m Losing You is one of the more up-tempo songs on The Temptations: The Ultimate Collection. Ain’t Too Proud To Beg one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Get Ready is possibly the best song The Temptations has come up. Don’t Look Back has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Since I Lost My Baby is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. It’s Growing - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. I have all of The Temptations’s tracks and Cloud Nine is probably the most his introspective effort. I Wish It Would Rain is really a nice song to relax and listen too. Treat Her Like A Lady is The Temptations’s best work in years. Shakey Ground is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Papa Was A Rollin’ Stone is my favorite song on The Temptations: The Ultimate Collection. The Temptations must have run out of lyrics on the next track Just My Imagination (Running Away With Me). |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. I Can’t Get Next To You is the funkiest number on the album.
