Ella Fitzgerald was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Ella Fitzgerald and Ella’s Moods together. Ella Fitzgerald’s debut, ‘Ella’s Moods’, does not fit easily into one genre. There is no doubt that Ella Fitzgerald has talent. Ella’s Moods is the best essence of Ella Fitzgerald.
The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Ella’s Moods. I came to like I Cried For You. I Concentrate On You is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Ella’s Moods have ended. Ella Fitzgerald is one of artists that allow his songs like How Deep Is The Ocean to stand on their own and be heard. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Dream A Little Dream Of Me from the beginning to the end. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. Cry Me A River - For me, this is the best of the album. Black Coffee - another great track from the Ella’s Moods album. Bewitched is the albums biggest surprise.
