Alla Pugacheva’s debut, ‘Na doroge ozhidaniy’, does not fit easily into one genre. This is the first studio album from Alla Pugacheva since bad diagnosis in 1996. Since Alla Pugacheva last CD (Na doroge ozhidaniy) on Sparrow Records back in 1996, I have felt a massive void in my life. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Still going through Na doroge ozhidaniy and coming to appreciate Balet more and more with every listen. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Alla Pugacheva. Bumazhnyy zmey - To me, this is the best song on the Na doroge ozhidaniy. Karallovye busy is really a nice song to relax and listen too. Only one song from Na doroge ozhidaniy named Liubimchik Pashka really got me. Na doroge ozhidan’ia was the first single release from the album Na doroge ozhidaniy. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. This track is clearly meant to showcase Alla Pugacheva’s vocal abilities. Sirena is the cool blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Alla Pugacheva sings Stekliannye cvety in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Once Telefonnaia knizhka gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. Ty na svete est’ is a striking and quite long song. Uletay, tucha is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Alla Pugacheva must have run out of lyrics on the next track Vladivostok.
