Ocarina had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. There is so much to love about Ocarina, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. For older fans Songs For Baby Jane will put a massive smile accross your face. Ocarina “Songs For Baby Jane” is an amazing album.
Hot Cakes Reggae is really the reason why I recommend buying Songs For Baby Jane. Zamba can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Ocarina is all about. I can’t stop playing November Is Gone. In Song For Baby Jane Ocarina is at his best. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Still going through Songs For Baby Jane and coming to appreciate La Complainte De Jesse James more and more with every listen. I like the idea behind Rose-Mary Reggae. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Mystical Force (Flute Solo) - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. In After Bentha it becomes nowhere more obvious that Ocarina has yet to define own style. Musically Zamba (Version Lounge) is superior to other tracks in Songs For Baby Jane.
