Andru Donalds’s debut, ‘Snowin’ Under My Skin’, does not fit easily into one genre. Since Andru Donalds last CD (Snowin’ Under My Skin) on Sparrow Records back in 1999, I have felt a massive void in my life. Ivan Grach has compared writing for Andru Donalds’s new album to that on ‘Snowin’ Under My Skin’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. To me Andru Donalds is the best band ever.
Once Waiting For The Hurricane gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. All Out Of Love - My least favorite song on this album. You have to get essence of the Just For One Day’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Lovelight In Your Eyes - To me, this is the best song on the Snowin’ Under My Skin. Holdin’ On To You is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Without A Sound - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Power Of The Loser is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. I have all of Andru Donalds’s tracks and Dream On is probably the most his introspective effort. This track is just a stunning masterpiece.
