On Impulse to Destroy album, Blood have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Impulse to Destroy carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. This is one of the best Cd’s Blood has dropped to date. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Impulse to Destroy.
Collision is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Strong, powerful vocals of Blood in Terroraise are very impressive. Musically Recognize Yourself is superior to other tracks in Impulse to Destroy. Blood emotions are reflected through Scuffing Horror. The song feels complete. No Regret! is astounding. When I listen to Skate Is Great in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Don’t judge Necromancer on the first listening. Bloody Season is the albums biggest surprise. Compulsion on Impulse to Destroy is solid and easy to listen to. Unsophisticated Sorehead was the first single release from the album Impulse to Destroy. Blew our minds when we first heard Tumor. A unique and uplifting song. Ventialtor Integrator actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Blood’s face. Economic Cancer one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Jesus Never Lived - Blood first major hit. Celtic Compost - My least favorite song on this album. Beyond Time and Space is another strong production from Blood. Blood offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Retrogression is the song that really did it for me. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Listening to The Greed you can hear that Blood has still amazing chemistry with band members. A great put together song. Linear Logical Intelligence is another favourite of mine. Spasmo Paralytic Dreams is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Blood released so far. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. Wings of Declaration - A nice song. Intro is a medium tempo tune.
