Sinead O’Connor was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Sinead O’Connor and The Lion and The Cobra together. This is the first studio album from Sinead O’Connor since bad diagnosis in 1987. Since Sinead O’Connor last CD (The Lion and The Cobra) on SixSteps records back in 1987, I have felt a massive void in my life. Another great offering from Sinead O’Connor.
Mandinka is really a nice song to relax and listen too. Jerusalem is exquisite and different song. A fantastic track full of wonder. Never Get Old to me is the best you can get from Sinead O’Connor. Song Troy is actually a funny song. The song I Want Your (Hands On Me) ending is my favorite… so catchy! Drink Before The War - arguably the best track on The Lion and The Cobra album. There is cool mix of music in Just Call Me Joe.
