I am not a real Alternative music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Am I Not You Girl’ really is amazing. This is the first studio album from Sinead O’Connor since bad diagnosis in 1992. sixteen years ago, Sinead O’Connor briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered”. Enjoy the show.
Put Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered into car stereo for your highway driving Secret Love is another favourite of mine. Black Coffee - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Success Has Made A Failure Of Our Home - A strong beat. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Am I Not You Girl is Don’t Cry For Me Argentina. I Want To Be Loved By You (2:45) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. The song feels complete. Love Letters - Okay, I just talked about depth. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Sinead O’Connor. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Don’t Cry For Me Argentina (Instr.), which shows, blatantly, how much Sinead O’Connor has evolved as a singer.
