While no new Mecano album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1998 tour in South America. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Mecano. There is no doubt that Mecano has talent. If I may, I suggest “Solo Soy Una Persona”. That one song is amazing!
El Fin Del Mundo is just simply stunning. 254.13.26 - Check out that bassline! Still going through Mecano and coming to appreciate Me Voy De Casa more and more with every listen. I loved La Maquina De Vapor the first time I heard it. Me Cole En Una Fiesta is so unique, as each one of the songs is. Boda En Londres have really caught my ear and imagination. Maquillaje is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. Best song on the album, love it. Perdido En Mi Habitacion as a highlight of Mecano contains a ton of astounding melodies. Get Mecano and turn on No Me Ensenen La Leccion if you are going to sip your wine late at night. In Hoy No Me Puedo Levantar Mecano is at his best.
