After debuting at No. 1 last week, Mecano’s album En Concierto falls to No. 2 with 892,000, a sales slide of 81%. Mecano had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. En Concierto is an amazing album, racked with beauty.Such great and happy songs.
I hope to keep hearing Mecano works for a long time to come. I now have Barco A Venus as one of my personal favorites. El Amante De Fuego defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. La Estacion good vocals. Ya Viene El Sol (Introduccion) great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.Hawaii-Bombai is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. Mecano sings his heart out in Me Cole En Una Fiesta. Aire - arguably the best track on En Concierto album. You can find feelings on this piece of art. Hoy No Me Puedo Levantar presents the perfect mix of instruments on En Concierto. Still going through En Concierto and coming to appreciate Japon (Introduccion) more and more with every listen.
