This is one of the best Cd’s Music Instructor has dropped to date. Lead single “Electriccity” and “Planet Earth” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Music Instructor’s album Electric City falls to No. 2 with 908,000, a sales slide of 53%. If you love Music Instructor as much as I do, then Music Instructor Electric City is the CD for you!
Planet Earth - a classic song. Let The Music Play is another strong production from Music Instructor. Vocals of Music Instructor in Super Sonic really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. Breakdance is one of the best records ever. Lyrics of Get Freaky are precise and evocative. Jam On It is the perfect blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Technical Lover is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Rock Your Body - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Dont Stop The Rock is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Funky Nation is the song that really did it for me. Galaxy Jam - For me, this is the best of the album. Pack Jam is the albums biggest surprise. After about the third Rock Your Body (Brainbug remix) listen through, I began to believe this song is Music Instructor’s essence. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. Music Instructor Megamix - Okay, I just talked about depth.
