Lead single “Phase North” and “Phase East + West” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Karunesh’s album Heart Chakra Meditation falls to No. 2 with 301,000, a sales slide of 69%. After seeing Phase North, I had to have a good Karunesh cd. Another great offering from Karunesh.
The first time I listened to Phase East + West I was struck by its amazing sound. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Heart Chakra Meditation. Phase Circle is probably one of Karunesh’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. The Inner Temple is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. Tibetan Sound Bowls is perfect.
