Mireille Mathieu’s debut, ‘Mes Plus Belles Chansons D’Amour’, does not fit easily into one genre. Since Mireille Mathieu last CD (Mes Plus Belles Chansons D’Amour) on Sparrow Records back in 1997, I have felt a massive void in my life. This is the first studio album from Mireille Mathieu since bad diagnosis in 1997. Overall, I would highly recommend Mes Plus Belles Chansons D’Amour CD.
This track is full of harmonies and gets Mes Plus Belles Chansons D’Amour off to a relaxing start. Amour Defendu - I just love it. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Mireille Mathieu. Comme Avant is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. The sound in Et Je T’aime is really warm and Mireille Mathieu’s signature voice is still very much present. Excellent vocals and musical performances. Je Veux L’Aimer is a strong cut, one of many. La Paloma Revient is one of the best records ever. Ma Delivrance has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Toi Et Moi good vocals. Tu N’as Pas Quitte Mon Coeur is a fine track on any terms. I hope to keep hearing Mireille Mathieu works for a long time to come. The first time I listened to Tous Les Enfants Chantent Avec Moi I was struck by its amazing sound. Je T’aime Avec Ma Peau (3:45) - awsome.
