A Tribute to the Beatles is an amazing album, racked with beauty. This is the first studio album from Jose Feliciano since bad diagnosis in 1992. Self-described as Easy Listening with lots of words, Jose Feliciano comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. A Tribute to the Beatles is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
I like the idea behind Hey Jude. Norwegian Wood is probably the most interesting track on A Tribute to the Beatles. Blackbird is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. Jose Feliciano sings Yesterday in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. She Came In Through The Bathroom Window is simple, dignified and effective, Jose Feliciano refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Here There And Everywhere is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. Help is a fine track on any terms. Song She’s A Woman is actually a funny song. Let It Be have really caught my ear and imagination. I love the melodic melody of Lady Madonna and to this day it makes me feel good. In My Life has a fun tempo. Day Tripper is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. You have to get essence of the Day In The Life’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener.
