For older fans Ibiza-Volumen 03 will put a massive smile accross your face. On Ibiza-Volumen 03 album, Cafe Del Mar have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Cafe Del Mar was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Cafe Del Mar and Ibiza-Volumen 03 together. To me Cafe Del Mar is the best band ever.
Tones (Nova Nova) is probably the most interesting track on Ibiza-Volumen 03. Sueno Con Mexico (Pat Metheny) - To me, this is the best song on the Ibiza-Volumen 03. I came to like Blue Bar (Afterlife). Emotions Of Paradise (Miro) is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Nights Interlude (Nightmares On Wax). In Panama Bazaar (Eighth Wave) it becomes nowhere more obvious that Cafe Del Mar has yet to define own style. This track is clearly meant to showcase Cafe Del Mar’s vocal abilities. Asia (Alex Neri) - A strong beat. Such hits like Dust Of Life (Fazed Idjuts Feat. Sally Rodgers) will leave you hooked. Cafe Del Mar sings his heart out in My Freedom (Beat Foundation).
