When you buy a Cafe Del Mar album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Lead single “Aqua” and “The Story Of Light” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Ibiza-Volumen 01 is an amazing album, racked with beauty.Ibiza-Volumen 01 is the best essence of Cafe Del Mar.
This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Smokebelch II (Beatless Mix) is probably the highlight of the album. Strong, powerful vocals of Cafe Del Mar in Music For A Found Harmonium are very impressive. Sundance is astounding. Only one song from Ibiza-Volumen 01 named Fanfare Of Life really got me. The Hypnotist has a fun tempo. Second Hand pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. A fantastic track full of wonder. Estelle is a bit different from Cafe Del Mar stereotypical stuff. In Orbiman - On The Rocks the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Tabula Rasa - Sunset At The Cafe Del Mar (6:55) - awsome.
