Willie Nelson had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Across The Borderline carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Willie Nelson energies, virtually a rebirth. Overall, I would highly recommend Across The Borderline CD.
This song may be the most meaningful. (The) Most Unoriginal Sin is a gorgeous song and it grows on you. Don’t Give Up one of the best in my collection. I like the agression and power of Heartland. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Willie Nelson. Music in Graceland is amazing as in all tracks of Across The Borderline. After about the third Farther Down The Line listen through, I began to believe this song is Willie Nelson’s essence. Only one song from Across The Borderline named Valentine really got me. This song is dynamic and dramatic. I Love The Life I Live as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. If I Were The Man You Wanted can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Willie Nelson is all about. She’s Not For You is a striking and quite long song. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer.
