To All The Girls I’ve Loved Befor is the albums biggest surprise. Angel Flying Too Close To The Groun is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. Stardust is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. I like Living In The Promiseland because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. In The City Of New Orleans the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Musically All Of Me is superior to other tracks in The Very Best of Willie Nelson. After about the third Remember Me (When The Candle Lights Are Gleaming…) listen through, I began to believe this song is Willie Nelson’s essence. You have to get essence of the If You’ve Got The Money, I’ve Got The Tim’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. My Heros Have Always Been Cowboy is a great opener for The Very Best of Willie Nelson. In Heartbreak Hotel it becomes nowhere more obvious that Willie Nelson has yet to define own style. On The Road Again is so unique, as each one of the songs is. Help Me Make It Through The Nigh which is my favorite is a truly Willie Nelson sounding song. Mammas, Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboy still maintains something of a specific flourish. Last Thing I Needed, First Thing This Mornin is a song to enjoy for years to come. I think Let It Be Me is the best song Willie Nelson has ever done. Blue Skies - A strong beat. Uncloudy Day is a very catchy tune. When listening to Always On My Mind, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. In Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain you won’t find any flashy solos. Get The Very Best of Willie Nelson and turn on Georgia On My Mind if you are going to sip your wine late at night. After few listenings I started to like Good Hearted Woman more and more.
