Self-described as Jazz with lots of words, Creedence Clearwater Revival comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. For older fans Chronicle, Vol. 1: The 20 Greatest Hits will put a massive smile accross your face. It has been fourteen years Creedence Clearwater Revival’ last studio CD, “Chronicle, Vol. 1: The 20 Greatest Hits” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Creedence Clearwater Revival is one of my favourite bands of all time.
Within the first few notes of Commodition it’s perfectly clear that Creedence Clearwater Revival is living this song. Chronicle, Vol. 1: The 20 Greatest Hits couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Fortunate Son. Only one song from Chronicle, Vol. 1: The 20 Greatest Hits named Green River really got me. Get Chronicle, Vol. 1: The 20 Greatest Hits and turn on Have You Ever Seen The Rain? if you are going to sip your wine late at night. In Hey Tonight you won’t find any flashy solos. I Heard It Through The Grapevine - A strong beat. I Put A Spell On You rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Lookin’ Out My Back Door one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Excellent vocals and musical performances. Long As I Can See the Light is really the reason why I recommend buying Chronicle, Vol. 1: The 20 Greatest Hits. The first time I listened to Proud Mary I was struck by its excellent sound. I like the agression and power of Run Through The Jungle. Someday Never Comes pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Susie Q is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. Once you hear Sweet Hitch-Hiker, you will listen to it over and over. Creedence Clearwater Revival has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. Lyrics of Up Around The Bend are precise and evocative. If you are a Creedence Clearwater Revival fan, you will love Who’ll Stop The Rain?. Down On The Corner - This one makes me want to not only sing along.
