Since Lenny Kravitz last CD (Are You Gonna Go My Way) on ForeFront Records back in 1993, I have felt a massive void in my life. Since completing 1993’s ‘Are You Gonna Go My Way’, Lenny Kravitz fulfilled their contract with ForeFront Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Are You Gonna Go My Way isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Such great and happy songs.
Believe - A classic Lenny Kravitz track. Come On and Love Me is a cool, simple song by Lenny Kravitz at the top of his game. Heaven Help is almost impossible to review. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Just Be A Woman is my favorite song on Are You Gonna Go My Way. Is There Any Love In Your Heart is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. Black Girl is really a nice song to relax and listen too. My Love marked the continuation of Lenny Kravitz in style evolution. Sugar - Okay, I just talked about depth. The song Sister ending is my favorite… so catchy! Simple and heartfelt closing track Eleutheria closes Are You Gonna Go My Way on a high note.
