Blue Wolves and White Doves carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Yoko Kanno was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Yoko Kanno and Blue Wolves and White Doves together. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Yoko Kanno energies, virtually a rebirth. Unappreciated gift to Soundtrack
One listen to the sheer beauty of Dream of the Wanderer (Theme of Blue Wolves and White Doves) (Clea) was all I needed. The Rider’s Dance (Yoko Kanno) one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. I like Mongol Empire (Yoko Kanno) because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Orudo (Yoko Kanno) is the most memorable and excellent. Eastern Europe (KEIKO) still maintains something of a specific flourish. A fantastic track full of wonder. Requiem (Yoko Kanno) - This is a very lively song. I think Mongol Plateau (Yoko Kanno) is the best song Yoko Kanno has ever done. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Coronation Ceremony (Yoko Kanno) because the melody in the chorus is so good. In Memory of Time (Clea) the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation.
