I am not a real Folk music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Pljuni i zapjevaj moja Jugoslavijo’ really is amazing. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Bijelo Dugme energies, virtually a rebirth. It has been ten years Bijelo Dugme’ last studio CD, “Pljuni i zapjevaj moja Jugoslavijo” which won Array Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. To me Bijelo Dugme is the best band ever.
I hope to keep hearing Bijelo Dugme works for a long time to come. Nocas je ko lubenica pun mjesec iznad Bosne on Pljuni i zapjevaj moja Jugoslavijo is solid and easy to listen to. Te noci kad umrem, kada odem, kad me ne bude hits the heart. A i ti me iznevjeri is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. Zar ne vidis da pravim budalu od sebe - Okay, I just talked about depth. This track is a great song that still never gets old. After few listenings I started to like Pjesma za malu pticu more and more. I believe Ruzica si bila is one of the most cool, heartfelt songs ever written.
