This disc has all of the essential Rod Stewart classics. Self-described as Rock with lots of words, Rod Stewart comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. This is the first studio album from Rod Stewart since bad diagnosis in 1982. This is one of Rod Stewart best albums
You have to get essence of the Rock My Plimsoul’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. You’re in My Heart (The Final Acclaim) (5:25) a good melody. Vocals of Rod Stewart in She Won’t Dance With Me/Little Queenie really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. I’ve found myself listening to Tonight’s the Night (Gonna Be Alright) back to back and back many times. When listening to Hot Legs, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. Rod Stewart offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Stripper - David Rose & His Orchestra is worth the money. Passion (5:29) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! I can’t stop humming along Gasoline Alley. In Maggie May the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Tear It Up is probably the most interesting track on Absolutely Live. If you are a Rod Stewart fan, you will love Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?. Sailing - This is a very lively song. I Don’t Want to Talk About It is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. This song stands out greatly from the others.
