This album has some very good songs like Tonight I’m Yours (Don’t Hurt Me) and How Long. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Rod Stewart. Tonight I’m Yours isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. To me Rod Stewart is the best band ever.
In How Long it becomes nowhere more obvious that Rod Stewart has yet to define own style. Tora, Tora, Tora (Out With The Boys) as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Tear It Up is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Put Only A Boy into car stereo for your highway driving This track is clearly meant to showcase Rod Stewart’s vocal abilities. Opening track Jealous shows the best of Rod Stewart. Sonny is so unique, as each one of the songs is. It’s such an underrated song. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener.
