four years ago, Michel Sardou briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Afrique Adieu”. There is no doubt that Michel Sardou has talent. After seeing Il Etait La (Le Fauteuil), I had to have a good Michel Sardou cd. If you want to hear real Folk, get this record now!
Afrique Adieu is one of the best records ever. Ma Memoire Et Mourir De Plaisir is the first taste of the new album. J’accuse is gorgeous work of Michel Sardou. Marie Jeanne - This one is lively and fun. Le Privilege is such a astounding and optimistic song that things can get just better. 1965 - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. Simple and heartfelt closing track Je Vais T’aimer closes Bercy 93 on a high note. 55 Jours 55 Nuits is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. Put Etre Une Femme into car stereo for your highway driving I think Le Bac G is the best song Michel Sardou has ever done. Divorce A L’amitie is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Chanteur De Jazz is a very catchy tune. La Vieille is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Mefie Toi On T’aime is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. After you’ve listened to L’autre Femme, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Michel Sardou sings Le Grand Reveil in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. L’an Mil - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. I can’t stop humming along Comme D’habitude. Michel Sardou has astounded me with this amazing track. Aujourd’hui Peut Etre has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Michel Sardou’s strong vocals come to the fore. Voice and instruments in Etre Et Ne Pas Avoir Ete (Version Studio) complement each other.
