Since Mango last CD (Odissea) on SixSteps records back in 1986, I have felt a massive void in my life. While no new Mango album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1986 tour in Europe. There is no doubt that Mango has talent. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Lei verra’ (versione strumentale)
Lei verra’ (versione strumentale) is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. Once Oro gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. I movimenti di un’idea without a doubt is the standout song of Odissea. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Odissea. I can’t stop playing Modern love. Show is one of the more up-tempo songs on Odissea. In ogni direzione che vuoi tu sets the tone for the entire album. Mi sembra luna - Mango first major hit. Within the first few notes of Love is just a melody it’s perfectly clear that Mango is living this song. odissea is possibly the best song Mango has come up. Lei verra’ as a highlight of Odissea contains a ton of exquisite melodies.
