It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Devo energies, virtually a rebirth. Jim Jones has compared writing for Devo’s new album to that on ‘Oh No It’s Devo - Freedom of Choice’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. After seeing Time out for fun, I had to have a good Devo cd. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Devo ever.
Peek-A-Boo still maintains something of a specific flourish. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Oh No It’s Devo - Freedom of Choice. All of songs on Oh No It’s Devo - Freedom of Choice and have something to say letting alone Explosions. That’s good gives taste of what makes Devo special as a musician. Patterns is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Big mess on Oh No It’s Devo - Freedom of Choice is solid and easy to listen to. Speed racer had me crying as I was able to relate so well. What I must is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Excellent vocals and musical performances. Deep sleep - This one makes me want to not only sing along. After you’ve listened to Girl u want, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. It’s not right is worth the money. Whip it is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Oh No It’s Devo - Freedom of Choice. Snowball is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Ton u love is the astounding blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. From the moment you listen to Freedom of choice you’re hooked. This song is dynamic and dramatic. cold war one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. I can’t stop humming along Don’t you know. That’s pep is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Devo released so far. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. Planet Earth is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Turn around - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Peek-ABoo (dance velocity) as a highlight of Oh No It’s Devo - Freedom of Choice contains a ton of cool melodies.
