I am not a real Country music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Highwaymen Ride Again’ really is amazing. This is one of the best Cd’s The Highwaymen has dropped to date. Highwaymen Ride Again isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. The Twentieth Century Is Almost Over and How Do You Feel About Foolin’ Around is really good.
So much energy, so exciting a sound.Heroes has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Album opener Blackjack County Chains is a bright, upbeat ditty. A Whiter Shade of Pale was the first single release from the album Highwaymen Ride Again. Lyrics of The Last Cowboy Song are precise and evocative. The Ballad of Forty Dollars is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Casey’s Last Ride is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Why Baby Why is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo.
