Mansion on the Hill had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Lovesick Blues - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. A unique and uplifting song. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. You’re Gonna Change (Or I’m Gonna Leave) one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Charming song, great melody. My Bucket’s Got a Hole in It hits the heart. In I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry the music gets its power. I like the idea behind I Just Don’t Like This Kind of Livin’. Long Gone Lonesome Blues is a medium tempo tune. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. Why Don’t You Love Me? - A classic Hank Williams track. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. They’ll Never Take Her Love from Me is the albums biggest surprise. Moanin’ the blues - Check out that bassline! Nobody’s lonesome for me - A strong beat. Such hits like Cold cold heart will leave you hooked. Dear John is probably the most interesting track on 40 Greatest Hits. Howlin’at the moon - For me, this is the best of the album. I can’t help it (if I’m still in love with you) - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Hank Williams. Hey good lookin’ - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Simple and heartfelt closing track Crazy heart closes 40 Greatest Hits on a high note. In Lonesome whistle it becomes nowhere more obvious that Hank Williams has yet to define own style. As always, Hank Williams’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. This is one hell of a track. Honky tonk blues catches attention immediately, I’m sorry for you my friend is a fine track on any terms. Half as much still maintains something of a specific flourish. Jambalaya - This is a very lively song. Window shopping (2:33) a good melody. Settin’ the woods on fire is really the reason why I recommend buying 40 Greatest Hits. You win again - arguably the best track on 40 Greatest Hits album. When listening to I’ll never get out of this world alive, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. Album opener Kaw liga is a bright, upbeat ditty. Your cheatin’ heart have really caught my ear and imagination. Take these chains from my heart is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. Weary blues from waitin’ - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. I saw the light is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Your Cheating Heart - a classic song.
