Hear has compared writing for The Charlie Daniels Band’s new album to that on ‘The Roots Remain (cd3)’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Now signed to The Charlie Daniels Band’s Virgin Records, the title track from second album “The Roots Remain (cd3)” leads The Charlie Daniels Band’s back-to-school campaign. I wish that “The Roots Remain (cd3)” album was instrumental.

In Play Me Some Fiddle the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Uneasy Rider ‘88 - A catchy, upbeat tune. The first time I listened to Midnight Train I was struck by its astounding sound. Honky Tonk Avenue is excellent work of The Charlie Daniels Band. Boogie Woogie Fiddle Country Blues has a fun tempo. Simple and heartfelt closing track (What This World Needs Is) A Few More Rednecks closes The Roots Remain (cd3) on a high note. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in The Roots Remain (cd3). This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. To Be With Joanna Again gets you up and jumping. Cowboy Hat In Dallas is astounding. Drinkin’ My Baby Goodbye is the albums biggest surprise. American Farmer is probably the most interesting track on The Roots Remain (cd3).
